Glenn Hoddle feels that Tanguy Ndombele put in his best performance in a Tottenham shirt against Wolves.
Speaking on his self-titled podcast, Hoddle stated that Ndombele shouldn’t have been removed by Jose Mourinho, even though Spurs were in-front.
Ndombele was taken off in favour of Moussa Sissoko, as Tottenham looked to see out their 1-0 lead at Molineux.
However, the change didn’t have the desired impact, as it just meant that Spurs found it harder to work the ball up to their strikers.
Ndombele, who scored the opening goal, was Tottenham’s best option going forward in the first-half.
And Hoddle feels that Mourinho may regret taking off the Frenchman now, after Wolves scored a late equaliser to stop Spurs taking home the three points.
“When they’re 1-0 up, I think their attitude has to be we’re going to win 2-0. They did it against Arsenal and I think that’s something that Spurs have to think about,” Hoddle said.
“I think Jose will have to a look at that and have a tinker with it, and not take off Spurs’s best player on the day, in Ndombele.

“He was very creative. First half he looked really good, the best I’ve seen him in a Spurs shirt.
“Yet you know at 1-0 up, Jose was going to take him off, and I think Spurs have got to try and get a second goal.”
Tottenham have now gone winless in their last four games, and Mourinho’s style has been questioned.
While the Portuguese boss has earned a lot of praise this season, his tendency to try and close out games by being defensive solid, rather than continuing to attack has been questioned, as his side have conceded far too many late goals.
Spurs are next in action tomorrow, when they take on Fulham.
