Rangers face a hectic few months leading up to the end of the season.

As we enter the final few months of the season in Scotland, many fans and media members are fascinated to see what will happen at Rangers over the next few weeks.
The Glasgow-based club are all but out of the running for the title, and now they need to start looking behind them as opposed to looking ahead. The good work that Graeme Murty has been doing over the course of his tenure could be undone in a matter of weeks, which is the first major issue they will be presented with.

The supporters will be debating back and forth regarding whether or not Murty should remain in charge at Ibrox, and they need to put a pin in those discussions for the time being. We have not even entered the final phase of the season yet, and these discussions already make it sound like it is over before it has even really begun.
The club have a vital Scottish Cup semi-final coming up in mid-April and, in addition to that, their position in the Europa League qualifying spots is not entirely secure. If Aberdeen and Hibs win their games in hand then Rangers will be just three points away from dropping down into fourth, and given that they are coming off back-to-back defeats, the momentum of their form could carry over to the final phase of the league campaign, where they will be facing the best of the best.

Above the speculation, however, the input from legends of years gone by needs to stop. From Walter Smith to Barry Ferguson, everyone is lending their opinion regarding what Rangers ‘need to do’ in the months to come. The fans conducting these debates is one thing, but there needs to be some kind of trust put in the current regime as they attempt to rebuild their once great reputation.
The Gers are on the verge of becoming a notable club on the European landscape once again, but with that final push, there simply has to be some focus. Rangers still have a lot to play for and, with the quality of their squad in comparison to their competitors, they are more than capable of finishing strong.
