Wolverhampton Wanderers fans may have less of an incentive to travel for their club’s upcoming handful of games, with it being confirmed that they will play seven of their next nine Championship clashes in front of the TV cameras.

The addition of the Derby County and Birmingham City games to the Sky Sports schedule ensures that Wolves fans will not be short of things to watch over the coming weeks, as their side attempts to steer themselves towards promotion and a place in the Premier League.

What was already a difficult task has seemingly become a little bit more stressful, with many supporters noting that the pressure of playing on national television can sometimes affect the overall performance on the day.

Of course, Wolves should be used to this by now, and in terms of the alternative viewpoint, many will say that all they need to do is get their head down and focus on the task at hand – which is winning their next 12 games.
