When Nouha Dicko went down with an injury over a year ago, Wolves fans around the world collectively sighed at the prospect of losing one of their best players for an extended period of time. Although it took longer than expected, the forward finally made his return during his side’s 2-1 loss to Norwich. As reported by Express & Star, Dicko spoke of his delight that he was finally able to return to the first-team.

“It was great, I felt something that was really unbelievable.” he said.

“I would like to thank them for their support throughout this whole year. It’s been 13 months since my last game – it felt like I never left.

“The reception was great. I was just happy to come back and play for the first team.”

Despite missing a golden chance to bring Wolves back into the game, the fact that he returned is the thing that really matters to fans of the Midlands side. Ever since arriving at Molineux, Dicko has proved to be one of the most valuable assets the club has had in a long time with his strength and fantastic finishing ability.

The hole that he created in his absence was evident and fans will be hoping he can return to full form within the next couple of weeks.
