Wilfried Zaha appears to finally be fulfilling his potential at Crystal Palace after a few years of uncertainty.
When Manchester United originally signed Wilfried Zaha back in 2013 it seemed as if he was poised for greatness, however it was not to be.
He did not feature into the manager’s plans at Old Trafford and after a number of loans out to Cardiff City and Crystal Palace, the now 23-year-old was back where he started.
Thankfully under Alan Pardew, things seem to be going well for Zaha. He looks more confident on the ball, is able to run at players more successfully and his end product is improving. The funny thing is, these abilities never diminished at United, he just was not given a chance to show them to the world.
Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha scores their second goal
With four assists to his name in a team struggling as much as Palace, the Englishman is showing the determination and passion necessary to succeed at this level. With the likes of Christian Benteke to aim at and work with for the rest of season, a strong run of form looks set to be on the cards as long as the team can get out of their current rut.
Whether that means changing manager or mixing up the formation, the winger has shown that he is willing to do whatever it takes to help the club thrive.
