The decision for Prince Oniangue to move away from Wolves on loan was a great move by all parties.
Given the sheer quantity of talent that came through the doors at Molineux in the summer, it seemed inevitable that a few of them would leave the job at the first sign of asking.
That is not due to the size or stature of the club either, but some players just do not take too kindly to being put on a rotation system that does not guarantee first-team football week in, week out.

That includes Prince Oniangue, who was originally tipped to be quite the player for Wolves this season.
Unfortunately it has not quite worked out that way, with the 28-year-old picking up just two goals in 10 appearances while spending the rest of the time watching from the sidelines.
Now while it is true that Prince is no longer a youthful up and comer, his loan move to SC Bastia could allow him to thrive abroad before bringing that momentum back over to England.
The struggling French side could use his creativity, and given the difference in quality and pace between the two nations it could allow for Oniangue to build up some confidence.

Meanwhile for Wolves, it takes another under-performing name off their hands for the time being.
Given that the Midlands side are getting into a groove under Paul Lambert, it makes sense to weed out those who have been most affected by the spending spree in the summer. It is not a sign of a future transfer by any means, but rather a chance at rehabilitation.
