With Leicester City’s domestic season in turmoil, it is time we look at why their fans have a right to be frustrated.
Of course, football fans around the world are extremely jealous of what Leicester City have been able to accomplish over the last year and a half.
The Foxes’ Premier League triumph is something that will go down in history as one of the greatest sporting achievements ever.
Despite this, a lot of their fans have voiced their outrage due to how far they have fallen in such a short space of time.

Now while nobody expected Leicester to maintain their stance at the top of the Premier League table, many fans and pundits alike are shocked at just how quickly they have fallen from the spotlight.
However, they have also lambasted Foxes fans who are complaining about the poor state of their current position in the division despite the fact they have made it through to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

It is easy to understand where neutral fans are coming from because a lot of teams will not even come close to achieving some of the things that Leicester have, but you have to look at it from their perspective.
This team that was built on spirit and camaraderie last year is not replicating the same kind of brotherhood feeling this time round, and perhaps their mentality on what they feel they need to achieve needs to be called into question.
The fundamentals of what made their story so great – being the underdogs, having a strong belief within each other and playing like their lives depended on it are all gone now.
For those things to vanish within the space of a few months, it is naturally hard to take for Leicester fans who got a taste of the high life but were not able to maintain it.
