Despite all the plaudits that Sheffield Wednesday have been receiving, they were somewhat fortunate to come away with a point against Preston.

However, in their most recent game against Preston North End there were certainly some issues that were exposed in their game.
For the full 90 minutes the Owls looked lethargic and sloppy with the ball with Preston taking the game by the scruff of the neck, and if it were not for their poor finishing it could have been quite embarrassing for Wednesday.
But as all gritty teams do, they stuck to their guns and snatched a last minute equaliser in order to keep themselves in the top six.
It could prove to be a huge result come the end of the season, especially considering they were without striker Forestieri which saw them fail to create any real openings for the majority of the contest.
While they took the majority of the possession, just one shot on target in comparison to seven fouls throughout the game shows just how desperate things were looking as Wednesday entered injury time.
Resiliency and composure is extremely sought after in this of all divisions and Wednesday seem to be working that out just at the right time.
