Swansea City’s current poor run in the Premier League is even worse than people originally thought.

Under Bob Bradley things have not really improved for Swansea City. His appointment was considered a gamble by many, and so far it is not paying off with just one point from his first four league games. As the Swans approach a vital run of fixtures, it turns out their current run is worse than originally thought.

Their winless streak has now stretched to 10 games in the Premier League, and for all their good football they have been unable to translate that into success. Regardless of whether or not this is a period of change for the club, the statistics are certainly worrying.

As we progress through winter this could easily turn into a long drought, especially given Bradley’s lack of experience in the top flight. It was certainly a brave decision to hire him, but the 58-year-old needs to start grinding out results like all relegation-threatened sides do.

Now nobody is expecting Swansea to break Derby’s winless run, or even necessarily come close, but with the manager already questioning the players it certainly looks like a dangerous situation for the Swans.
