Leeds United are starting to find their footing under Garry Monk as they prepare for three games in the space of a week.
Leeds United manager Garry Monk before the match
Many people were worried for Garry Monk after he took the Leeds job that he would experience the same fate as the last few managers before him, however after a shaky start he seems to have brought some joy to the club with three wins on the bounce.
They will have to keep up that mentality as they prepare for another three games over the course of next seven days.

Ipswich – Home
Ipswich look set to be outside contenders for the play-offs once again this year under the always consistent Mick McCarthy. Both teams will obviously have very different goals this season but that doesn’t matter in the Championship, and Leeds having the home advantage could be huge for them.
Momentum is an important thing and if Monk’s men come out firing then they could very well get something from this game, which is something they would not be saying a few months ago.
Prediction: Leeds 1-1 Ipswich
Bristol City manager Lee Johnson
Bristol City – Away
It seems to be one step forward and two steps back for Bristol City this season as they are experiencing a rollercoaster return to the second tier. It is anyone’s guess as to what they will next but with youngster Tammy Abraham banging in the goals they have an attacking threat to be feared.
Leeds may struggle here especially if the Robins start the game well with the Ashton Gate crowd behind them. Monk will do well to get something out of this but his side will likely come up short.
Prediction: Bristol City 2-1 Leeds
Barnsley players celebrate after the game
Barnsley – Home
A Yorkshire derby with a different feel to it this year as Barnsley find themselves in 4th following a phenomenal start to the season. They will go to Elland Road will no fear, especially given some of the away performances they’ve put in this season which includes a 4-0 victory at Molineux.
A point would be a good result for Leeds but the club are still in the re-building process, and Barnsley look ready and prepared to make a run for the play-offs.
Prediction: Leeds 1-2 Barnsley
