Norwich manager Alex Neil has spoken about Robbie Brady following the player’s fantastic strike against Wolves at the weekend.

Norwich City continued their strong start to the season at the weekend with a 2-1 victory away against the much talked about Wolves. The Canaries were riding a wave of pressure at 1-0 when Robbie Brady popped up with a delightful strike that ended up being the winner. As reported by Eastern Daily Press, manager Alex Neil has commented on the goal as well as what he is expecting from Brady moving forward.
“We actually said to Robbie before this game we need to see a little bit more from him because he is better than what he has shown recently and he pops up with that,” said Neil.
“I just think there is lot of expectation on young boys nowadays. He is still only what, 23 or 24, Robbie so he is a young lad and the expectation on him, because of how good a Euros he had, is something maybe he needs to come to terms with and focus on his game and not worry about all the hype and what other people say. That is the quality we have got. We have guys who are capable of doing those things.”

Coming off the back of such a good win will make it all the more frustrating for Neil that the international break is just round the corner. However on a more positive note, Brady has managed to land himself a call-up to the Ireland squad as they prepare for qualifiers against Moldova and Georgia.
Neil will be praying that he comes back fully fit with his side set to play three games in just over a week once league football returns.
The games against Rotherham, Fulham and Preston will give a good indication of just how strong this Norwich side is compared to the rest of the division.
