Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner has hailed the overall contributions of forward Nahki Wells.
Nahki Wells has been a consistently key player for Huddersfield Town ever since his arrival from Bradford City back in 2014. His goal-scoring form has been second to none for the Terriers, however recently it is his overall contributions aside from his talents in front of goal that have captured the attention of manager David Wagner. As reported by the Huddersfield Examiner, Wagner has praised Wells for everything he has done for the side this season.
The 26-year-old forward has scored twice in 10 games for the top of the table side, with a pre-season injury initially derailing his momentum at the start of the campaign.
“Nahki is a good player who works very hard,” said Wagner of the Bermudan.
“He is our first defender as well as being a goalscorer.”
Wells has always been regarded as a future star in England, with many believing he would rise to superstardom following his fantastic performances for Bradford. Regardless of where people thought he would be, there is no doubt as to just how talented he is as well as how vital he will prove to be for Huddersfield.
The West Yorkshire side will continue their push for promotion when they host Sheffield Wednesday following the international break.
