Dave Edwards has been on a rollercoaster journey with Wolverhampton Wanderers, and last weekend proved his quality once again.

Since joining Wolverhampton Wanderers way back in 2008, Dave Edwards has been through it all with the club. The 30-year-old has played for the Midlands side in the Premier League, Championship and even League One which shows his sheer commitment to the Wanderers. He has scored some vital goals over the years and last weekend his status as one of the best goal-scorers for the club in recent history was confirmed.

His second-half header against Norwich City meant that Edwards has now scored in 10 consecutive seasons for Wolves, becoming just the eighth player post-war to do so for the old gold and black.

Molineux - general view

The man who is affectionately nicknamed Dangerous Dave has remained ever consistent throughout his time at Molineux, and sometimes his contributions over the years can be overlooked by some supporters. His current deal runs out next summer, so he will be hoping to impress boss Walter Zenga so that he can secure himself a new contract.

His success even spilled over into his international career over the summer when he was selected to take part in Euro 2016 with Wales. Like a fine wine, Edwards seems to just keep getting better with age.
