Celtic supporters have let their feelings be heard regarding the poor conditions at Aberdeen’s Pittodrie.

Celtic supporters have voiced their opinions on social media regarding the state of Aberdeen’s Pittodrie pitch in the wake of their 2-0 victory at the weekend.
Brendan Rodgers’ men faced something of a high-pressure situation following Rangers’ comprehensive victory over Hearts 24 hours prior to their game, and they knew that a convincing win would go a long way to easing the worries of supporters who feel like their bitter rivals are beginning to creep up on them.

Of course, they managed to come away with the three points, but the pitch wound up being almost as big of a story as the game itself. Regardless of the triumph, some supporters appeared to be outraged on social media, and to be honest, you cannot really blame them.
After all the lingering threat of injury is bad enough when you are playing in a regular match, but when you are having to deal with conditions that should not be considered appropriate for a professionally licensed game, then things become even more tricky.
We have seen this kind of thing before to a heavier extent with the likes of Blackpool being called out due to their pitch, but there should be a big gulf between the English lower leagues and the top tier of Scottish football – but it is evident that there is not.

Scottish supporters are forever looking to be taken seriously within the landscape of European football, but before they go about doing that on the pitch, they need to rectify some of these issues.
With that being said, here are some of the most notable reactions from the Celtic faithful.
