Lewis Grabban’s move to Aston Villa has been confirmed, and Villa fans have been quite vocal on Twitter regarding their feelings about the transfer.

It took some time, but Aston Villa fans were finally rewarded for their deadline day patience last night as the club confirmed the loan signing of Lewis Grabban from AFC Bournemouth.
The experienced 30-year-old striker will assist in the club’s promotion push until at least the end of the 2017/18 season, with Villa being the 11th club that Grabban has played for throughout his thirteen-year career.

He was not the only outgoing Bournemouth striker last night, either, with Benik Afobe also being sent out on loan to former club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Grabban has already made quite the impression in the Championship during this campaign, with his 12 goals in 20 appearances for Sunderland being a fantastic return when you consider the precarious position that they find themselves in.
Still, it is a well-earned jump from the bottom to the top for Grabban, who has always proved himself to be a handful in this division.

Some fans are rightly cautious given the journeyman nature of his career over the last few years, with his stint at Reading only seeing him produce three goals in 19 appearances. Obviously, the set-up at Villa Park will be entirely different, but you have to question whether or not his inconsistency will plague his time there.
Either way, the majority of Villans are choosing to look on the positive side of things, with the following tweets being the best of the bunch on social media ever since his move to the club was confirmed late last night.
