Wolverhampton Wanderers star Ruben Neves has been called up to the Portuguese national team, as the European Champions prepare to take on Egypt and Holland in friendly competition at the end of this month.

The 21-year-old has been on fire for Wolves this season, and his success has been a major reason for the Midlands side finding themselves 10 points clear of third place in the Championship. His flair, composure and natural ability make him one of the best players to have competed at this level in the last few decades.

While Neves is not exactly a front-runner to make the final squad for the World Cup this summer, good performances in these upcoming clashes could improve his chances of sealing a place on the plane to Russia.
