Neil Cutler has said on Ben Foster’s YouTube channel that Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is never happy with his own performance.
Cutler was recently sacked as the Villa goalkeeping coach following the dismissal of Steven Gerrard as the manager.
The 46-year-old has raved about Martinez, and has said that the former Arsenal goalkeeper is never happy with his own performance.

Neil Cutler on Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez
Cutler said: “Emi Martinez, he will sit in the debrief and he will go, ‘I should have done better. I should have saved it. I have got to do this, I have got to do that’.
“His standards are that high he believes he should be saving everything.”

One of the best
In our view, Emiliano Martinez is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and has been playing well for Aston Villa since his move from Arsenal.
The 30-year-old was a squad player at the Gunners, but he is a regular in the Villa team and is also playing for Argentina consistently.
Martinez is set to play for Argentina at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
Villa have a new manager in charge now, and we think that Unai Emery will keep faith in Martinez.
The Villans have not had the best of times under Steven Gerrard, but Martinez did well during the Liverpool legend’s time at Villa Park.
