TyC Sports journalist Cesar Luis Merlo has told Calciomercato.it that Paulo Dybala is still to decide his future once his Juventus contract ends, amid transfer interest from Tottenham.
Dybala will leave the Allianz Stadium at the end of the season after the Bianconeri elected against extending his deal. But the Argentine maestro is yet to firm up any future plans, as currently his only priority is to wait for offers to arrive from the top-four European leagues.
The 28-year-old is determined to continue playing at an elite level in Europe, providing any offers arrive. He will not rule out any destination until his agent, Jorge Antun, receives bids for his services. Yet, Dybala’s camp have so far only received tentative calls for his services.

Merlo names Barcelona and Inter Milan as two clubs who have reached out to Antun over Dybala’s free transfer. However, no club has yet stepped up their pursuit, while a move to La Liga is less likely than staying in Serie A if the Nerazzurri do present an official approach.
Tottenham are also keen to study Dybala’s situation for a free transfer once his contract at Juventus ends in June. Corriere dello Sport cite Spurs’ interest, and note the north London club as favourites with Barcelona for the Bianconeri’s €40m (£33.5m) signing from 2015.
Tottenham target Dybala has ‘no priority’ on next club ahead of Juventus exit
Tottenham, Barcelona or Inter Milan will face paying Dybala €10m-a-year (£160k-a/w) net, including bonuses, if they do look to secure his free transfer from Juventus, per Sky Italia.

Merlo, though, doubts his situation will be resolved anytime soon and expects the 13-goal, six-assist star will wait until his deal in Turin expires before putting pen to paper anywhere.
“He wants a great club,” he stated. “But in reality, there are many polls, the most concrete one is from Inter for his relationship with [Nerazzurri chairman] Beppe Marotta. But I think the decision will come at the end of the season. It will be quite a long story.
“Barcelona made a survey because they are mainly looking for players who are expiring their contracts. But in reality, today Dybala has no concrete offer written on the table. He does not have a preference on the future, to continue in Serie A or go to another league.
“His priority is to continue to compete at high levels and Italy, Spain, Germany, England are all at very high levels. His expectation is a club similar to Juve in importance, but then it depends on the official offers that will arrive.”
