Gary Neville has said on Sky Sports that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane played well against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at the weekend.

Kane was in action for Tottenham against Liverpool at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday evening.

Liverpool won the Premier League match against Tottenham 2-1.

Mohamed Salah scored both goals for the Reds in North London.

England international striker Kane found the back of the net for Spurs in the second half.

It was a brilliant goal as well.

And former Manchester United defender Gary Neville was impressed.

Neville was on co-commentary duty for the match for Sky Sports.

And he believes that Kane will feel good about himself heading into the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar with England.

Gary Neville on Harry Kane for Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool

Neville said about Kane: “The goal was classic. It is a brilliant strike from Harry Kane. It was precise, he is definite, he is sure, he knows where the goal is.”

The pundit added: “I think he will feel good about how he has come into that game. He looked lively, he looked like he had his legs back.”

In good form

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been banging in the goals for fun and looks set to win the Golden Boot award in the Premier League this season.

Maybe that is why the form of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has gone unnoticed by many.

The England international striker has scored 11 goals and provided one assist in 14 Premier League games so far this season.

That is very impressive.
