Stephen Warnock has claimed that Luis Diaz’s feet are ‘ridiculous’ after watching him live at Anfield in a Liverpool shirt, as he told the Football Show on Sky Sports.
The former left-back added that Diaz has been ‘outstanding’ for the Reds and there is a ‘real buzz’ around the ground when he picks the ball up.
Ever since Diaz’s January move to Merseyside, Liverpool’s game, from an attacking sense, has gone to another level.
The 25-year-old has fitted in at the club like he has been part of Jurgen Klopp’s system for years and years.
Following Liverpool’s win over West Ham United from the weekend, Warnock shared what he noticed about the player whilst watching him in action.
“He has been outstanding,” said Warnock. “He has been a player that has come in and fitted into the system well.
“But you have to take your opportunity. You have to understand the style of football Liverpool likes to play.
“I was at the game (West Ham) when I saw how quickly he received the ball and took this ball, it’s just phenomenal. His feet are ridiculous.
“He was very unfortunate not to score in this game. But his touch is forward every single time. Even the sense in the crowd, whenever he picks the ball up, there is a real excitement and buzz because you get the feeling that he will create something.”

With injuries to Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota being eased back in after his time on the sidelines, it has resulted in Diaz starting a few games.
Liverpool are in Champions League action tonight, where they hold a 2-0 first-leg lead against the Serie A champions, Inter Milan.
Given that Diaz has performed very well for Klopp, he perhaps deserves to experience a Champions League night under the lights at Anfield as a Liverpool player.
Either way, with the attacking talent Klopp can choose from, his team have to be one of the favourites to lift the European Cup again this season.
