Leeds United fans are worried about Kalvin Phillips, after he picked up an injury in their game against Crystal Palace last night.
Leeds won 2-0 at Elland Road yesterday, and their performance meant that the night was almost an entirely positive one.
Leeds looked excellent throughout, as they once again proved just how quickly they have adjusted to Premier League football.
However, Phillips’s injury was the one negative in what was a brilliant night for Leeds, as they moved into the top half.
The central midfielder went down on multiple occasions in the second half, before being withdrawn.
And Leeds supporters are concerned about the severity of the injury now, and have asked why he didn’t come off earlier in the contest.
Marcelo Bielsa was asked to update about Phillips’s injury after the game, but he did not shed much light on how bad the problem was.
Phillips is set to undergo tests today, at which point it should be clearer how long he will be sidelined.
If Phillips does have to spend much time on the sidelines it will be a major blow for Leeds, as he is such an integral part of their starting line-up.
