The Stoke City striker’s father played for Everton – among others.

Stoke City fans want Paul Lambert to include Tyrese Campbell in his first team plans, after the striker – whose father is the ex Everton goalscorer Kevin Campbell – scored twice in a 3-2 win for the Potters’ Under-23s on Monday.
Campbell Jnr’s goals helped Stoke to come from behind and beat Middlesbrough at St George’s Park, where Lambert was among the onlookers.
The 18-year-old’s father later praised Lambert for attending and ‘having an input’ and claimed the Potters boss ‘could do worse’ than to include Campbell Jnr against relegation rivals Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend.
It’s a view which seems to be shared by several Stoke followers, who have been busy on Twitter in the aftermath of Campbell’s performance for the U23s.
One, however, warned: “I’ve been saying it all season because Everton will be sniffing soon that’s where his dad wants him to be eventually”.
Here’s what they’ve been saying…
Campbell Jnr was previously on the books of Manchester City, but moved to Stoke in the summer of 2016.
According to Transfermarkt, the former England Under-17 international – whose father scored Premier League goals for Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion as well as Everton – is out of contract at the end of the campaign.
