Carter-Vickers has impressed since joining Sheffield United on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Cameron Carter-Vickers has enjoyed a fine start to his Sheffield United career.
Friday night’s win at Burton Albion was arguably his finest display for the Blades so far – capped with a sublime assist for one of Billy Sharp’s two goals.
But Tuesday night’s 5-4 defeat at home to Fulham was certainly his worst. The Tottenham talent, who is on loan at Bramall Lane until May, set the tone of the game with an under-hit back-pass upon which Sheyi Ojo seized en route to cancelling out Leon Clarke’s opener for Sheffield United.

Carter-Vickers was then easily turned by Ryan Sessegnon for Fulham’s second goal, and lost sight of the rumoured Spurs target as he buried their third.
That prompted Chris Wilder, the Sheffield United manager, to cut short the 19-year-old’s evening 32 minutes early, as Fulham went on to score two further goals – which were very nearly not enough.
