Tottenham Hotspur fans have hailed the performance of Ben Davies against Maccabi Haifa last night.
Davies helped Tottenham to a 7-2 victory in the Europa League, and the Welshman caught the eye through his attacking play.
Davies, who often fails to deliver in the final third, actually claimed three assists last night for Spurs.
And Tottenham fans think that the addition of Sergio Reguilon is pushing him on to new heights.
Davies, who has been at Tottenham for six years now, has been a mainstay in Jose Mourinho’s side since he arrived, but keeping his place now will be tough.
Reguilon was hugely impressive on debut for Spurs against Chelsea, with the Spaniard’s forward-thinking approach really catching the eye.
Davies’s display last night was a timely reminder of his quality though, and it will now be very interesting to see who Mourinho picks to start at left-back on Sunday, when Spurs take on Manchester United.
