West Ham United are reportedly keen on appointing Marco Silva as their new manager.

David Moyes was handed the reigns at the London Stadium in November last year, and with the Hammers currently sitting just two points clear of the drop zone, it is hard to argue that he has overseen progress at the club.
Silva is well-renowned for implementing an attacking, attractive brand of football, and if West Ham do appoint him as their new manager in the summer, it could prove to be their best piece of business in a very long time.

Hammers fans are well-known for their love of exciting, high tempo football – something that they have been starved of in recent years, and the Portuguese would undoubtedly bring that little bit of panache to the London Stadium.
The 40-year-old worked wonders during his time in charge of both Hull and Watford, although his time at Vicarage Road was tarnished by constant links with the Everton manager’s job.

Silva would definitely be armed with more financial muscle than he was at his two previous clubs, and he could work wonders with the Hammers squad.
West Ham are a club in desperate need of a real character at the helm, and the Portuguese is a perfect fit for them.
It could be a match made in heaven.
