Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after La Razon revealed that Jose Mourinho wants to bring Diego Costa to north London.
The 24-cap Spain international was released from his contract at Atletico Madrid earlier today, bringing an end to his second stint under Diego Simeone.
That means the 32-year-old is now a free agent, with the January transfer window just a matter of days away.
However, having scored just two goals this season, it could be argued that the former Chelsea striker is past his best.
If you think this term is just a blip, then his form last season also wasn’t too encouraging.

In 30 appearances, the Lagarto-born frontman scored just five goals throughout the 2019/20 campaign.
Of course, Costa wouldn’t cost anything in terms of a transfer fee if Mourinho really does want him.
Spurs would just need to pay him a salary.

However, as we all know from his time at Chelsea, the ex-Braga marksman is quite a hot-head and also a walking disciplinary nightmare.
If he can provide enough firepower to fire Spurs to a successful season, however, then we highly doubt Mourinho or Tottenham supporters will care about that.
Let’s see what they’ve been saying about La Razon’s report on Twitter…
