Roy Keane told Sky Sports during their live coverage of Arsenal’s goalless draw against Manchester United on Saturday that David Luiz acted like he scored a goal yesterday.
The former Man United midfielder was making reference to Luiz celebrating Arsenal stopping a Bruno Fernandes free-kick just before the half-time whistle.
Given that it was on the edge of Arsenal’s penalty area, there would have been a few worried faces, but the opposition wall remained firm against the dead-ball specialist.
In a typically forthright Roy Keane fashion, he claimed that it was the ‘highlight’ of the game for Arsenal and Luiz himself.
“This is the highlight for Arsenal [Fernandes’ free-kick],” said Keane. “Luiz looks like he has scored a goal there himself.
“I think he’s delighted with the job he had done. It’s the highlight for him.”

It has been an up and down time for Luiz at the Emirates ever since the £8 million man [Sky Sports] dropped one London club for another.
Luiz was named Man of the Match by Gary Neville during his side’s goalless draw yesterday and he will be hoping for the club to progress further.
They are still sitting outside of the European places and the teams above them hold the upper hand, but they had three of their best players missing against Manchester United, so it’s signs that they can compete even if they are weak.
