Tottenham Hotspur fans don’t appear keen on the idea of playing Juan Foyth at right-back.
Football London claims that Foyth played on the right-hand side of Tottenham’s defence in their friendly against Norwich City.
Foyth is most naturally a central defender, but has often been touted as a potential right-back during his time at Spurs.
Mauricio Pochettino seemed to be testing him out in the position over pre-season, before he picked up an injury.
But most Spurs fans seem to have doubts over Foyth’s ability to play at full-back.
Foyth is likely to be playing for his Tottenham future over the remainder of the campaign.
There have already been suggestions that he could depart in the summer, with the 22-year-old struggling for game time under Jose Mourinho so far.
If Foyth could impress at right-back that would be a boost for Spurs, as they have struggled in the position so far this season, with Serge Aurier proving unreliable defensively.
