Tottenham Hotspur will take on Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday night at their new stadium.

Heung-Min Son has stated that Tottenham Hotspur will ‘show’ Manchester City the ‘difference’ between Wembley and their new stadium as they prepare to meet in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Prior to the match, City’s Kevin De Bruyne stated that he doesn’t think there will be much ‘difference’ between the London club’s temporary home, which was Wembley and their new glamorous surroundings, as reported by Sky Sports.
Speaking to Sky Sports News (08/04/2019 at 1:10 pm), Son issued a stern response and stated that the atmosphere will help Spurs in what is set to be a crucial first leg encounter.
“Of course [the atmosphere can help Spurs players],” Son told Sky Sports News. “We take this plus points for us because maybe the City players didn’t realise because they always play home. I think we have been nearly two years away from our home stadium.
“What we have done in these last two years, I think it was very positive. We missed home a lot. We can show them tomorrow night the difference between Wembley and our new stadium.”
Tottenham officially opened their new stadium last Wednesday when they beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in the Premier League, with Son opening the scoring and writing his name into the history books.

Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping his team can use that win as motivation to beat a City team that is currently on course to win all four major trophies.
The one advantage for Spurs is that they weren’t in action at the weekend, whilst City were beating Brighton in the FA Cup semi-final.
It remains to be seen if Pochettino’s side can use those extra few days to add that extra bit of energy in their game because the North London outfit have proven that on their day they can beat anyone.
