The Tottenham Hotspur forward broke his arm playing for South Korea.
Tottenham’s Son Heung-min celebrates after the game
Tottenham Hotspur fans were left feeling concerned yesterday after their South Korean attacker Heung-min Son suffered a serious looking injury on international duty. The forward came off just 34 minutes into his nation’s shock defeat against Qatar yesterday, clutching his arm in considerable pain.
It was later confirmed he had suffered a broken arm and now the severity of the injury has also been confirmed. Yonhap News Agency in Korea cites a source from the Korean FA as stating that Son will have to undergo corrective surgery on the problem. The timespan for the recovery from his injury has, fortunately, been put at only four weeks.

It could have been much worse for the Tottenham player, who will now have to endure the first month of his summer off with his arm in a sling.
The good news is that Son will be back in time for the start of the Premier League season. After a campaign in which he scored 21 goals in 47 games Spurs now consider him a vital member of the Tottenham first-team.
Hopefully he can recover from his arm injury even faster than expected.
