Tottenham Hotspur attacker Heung-Min Son scored the winner as Mauricio Pochettino’s side beat Crystal Palace.

Son scored the winner for Tottenham in their 1-0 victory over Palace, but the South Korean international felt he could have had more goals.
And Son’s desire for perfection meant that he walked off the Wembley turf feeling disappointed at the weekend.
“I had a number of chances,” Son said. “I am disappointed to score just the one goal, but the important thing is that we got the three points.”

Son’s performance was actually below par, despite his goal – with the 25-year-old wasteful on numerous occasions.
Son’s goal was a sweetly struck strike from the edge of the area, but he missed two one-on-ones during the contest, which were far easier chances.
In truth, if Son had been more clinical, he could have scored a hat-trick – which would surely have boosted his chances of starting more regularly.

Son has a remarkable scoring record at Tottenham, but he remains a rotational option for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, rather than a permanent starter.
Tottenham are next in action after the international break, when they take on Arsenal.
