The South Korean is currently the man of the moment at Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham’s Son Heung-min scores their first goal
Tottenham Hotspur’s man of the moment Heung-min Son has commented on potentially playing as a number nine striker for the club.
The South Korean international has been in good form for Tottenham so far this season. He scored the winning goal as they defeated CSKA Moscow last night 1-0 in the Champions League. That strike was his fifth in as many games for the club this season and with Harry Kane currently injured and Vincent Janssen still adapting to English football his form has been timely.

Speaking to ESPN yesterday the 24-year-old spoke about his ability to play through the middle, also mentioning how he rated both White Hart Lane teammates in Kane and Janssen:
“At Leverkusen I never played central striker, as a No. 9, but at Hamburg I played as a central striker. I try. I can’t say I’ll score for sure but I try as an offensive player to score and score the winning goals.
“I think we have great players to score. Harry is a great player but also Vincent Janssen. It is not just me I try to score but we all try to score more goals.”
So far Son has played most of his career as an attacker from the left-hand side and that is where he has been performing so well of late for Spurs.

But he could certainly do a job through the middle if Tottenham call on him.
He nearly left the club in the summer after a struggle of a first season at White Hart Lane. Given his current form, Spurs fans are very pleased he decided to stay.
