Ally McCoist has stated that Wilfried Zaha is ‘walking into the Chelsea team’ and that he would also start for Tottenham and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, as he told talkSPORT (02/11/22 at 7:25 am).
The Scotland legend added that, on current form, Liverpool fans would take the Crystal Palace star, whilst he could also play for Spurs because of Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison’s current injuries.
The 29-year-old’s contract at Selhurst Park expires next summer and there aren’t any signs that he will extend his current deal, with Palace fearing he will head for the exit door.

This season, Zaha already has five goals from 11 Premier League games, after scoring 14 during the previous campaign.
That has seen some of the big boys wanting to secure his signature, including north London duo Tottenham and Arsenal, as well as those on the red half of Merseyside.
Either way, with suggestions that Zaha is looking to leave on a free transfer, McCoist thinks the former Manchester United winger is ready for that step up again to a club already in Europe.
“I would tell him, go and follow your heart, Wilfried,” said McCoist. “Follow your heart. One thing you have earned is the respect of all the Palace fans and football fans up and down the country.
“I think he’s a great watch. I love going to Palace – I think Wilfried Zaha has earned his stripes. I think he does not owe anybody, anything. He owes himself to go and make the right call, whatever he wants to do. If that’s to stay at Palace, then I would be the same as the Palace fans, I would be absolutely delighted.
“In current form, he is walking into the Chelsea team. I know Richarlison and Kulusevski are out injured. But he could play in the Spurs side.
“He doesn’t get into a Liverpool team that have one away game in seven? When everyone isn’t playing well he might not get into it. But, right now, you ask some of the Liverpool fans, after some of the performances at Forest, at home to Leeds, then there would be one or two Liverpool fans that would take him on current form.”

ZAHA WOULD COOK IF HANDED A CHANCE HIGHER UP
Take your pick. Signing Zaha on a free transfer would be a fantastic piece of business because you are getting a player at the peak of his powers, performing at a high level and ready to prove himself.
That stint at Old Trafford would have brought out another side to the Ivory Coast star, and whether it’s Tottenham, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal, he would cook for either side.
Now, three of those sides are currently in the Champions League, and whilst Zaha joining a team that will be in the Europa League next season would be seen as a step up, he is good enough to push higher than that.
