The West Ham United midfielder was signed on a free transfer this month.

When speaking during a guest appearance on Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday show, West Ham ace Michail Antonio raved about his teammate Samir Nasri, suggesting that the Frenchman is two steps ahead of everyone else.
The 31-year-old joined the Hammers at the start of the month on a short-term deal that runs until the end of the season, and he has already showed what he is capable of.
Nasri could end up being an absolute coup for West Ham, if he manages to find his best form between now and the end of the season.
Antonio, who has been in fine form himself recently, explained how highly he rates the former Arsenal and Manchester City man, when speaking during a guest appearance on Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday show yesterday:

“Samir is such a quality player. He is two steps ahead of everyone. He slows the game around where he has people ahead of him. He’s able to able to slow the game down to his own pace. What a signing he is. He’s going to be massive for us. He had a couple of rusty touches yesterday but a couple of games down the line he’s going to be massive for us.”
Nasri is obviously a supremely gifted player, but the real questions that were being asked of him were regarding whether he would be able to reacclimatise to the rigours of the Premier League, having not played in over 12 months.
As things stand, he seems to already be proving his doubters wrong, but he still has a long way to go before earning himself a long-term deal with West Ham.
