Ian Wright was left baffled by former Tottenham man, Serge Aurier, after he managed to get himself sent off in a friendly game.
England beat the Ivory Coast 3-0 on Tuesday night at Wembley, with Aurier not just getting sent off in the game, but within the first half.
It probably won’t surprise Spurs fans because they have seen it all before from the 29-year-old, who was shown two yellow cards, the final one for dissent after fouling Ollie Watkins.
But his first yellow came after he attempted a Cruyff turn, failed, lost the ball to Jack Grealish and proceeded to bring him down.
All in all, Wright made it clear that Aurier had ‘no complaints’ for what happened against England as he was left baffled by the player’s actions, as he told ITV Sport.
“He’s trying to do a Cruyff turn, then he has pulled Jack Grealish down,” said Wright. “He has no complaints about that. He knows that’s a yellow.
“I think the second one was for dissent. I don’t know what he is doing here. I think he’s trying to flick it to someone. Then he actually grabs onto Ollie Watkins. I don’t know what he wants there. There’s nothing there.”

During his career, Aurier has had a knack for doing the unnecessary and then topping that all off by doing something even more unnecessary.
Given that he is entering his 30s soon, it’s probably a clear sign that when he is 34, and still playing, then he will be doing the same.
Spurs fans parted ways with the player last summer by ripping up his contract.
Perhaps to the surprise of some, he managed to land on the doorstep of the Europa League champions, Villarreal, who are managed by Unai Emery and are in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
