Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has backed Arsenal linked Serge Aurier to be a success in the Premier League.
Serge Aurier showed his attacking capability for the Ivory Coast as his two crosses led the African side to a 2-1 comeback victory over Japan.
The right-back provided crosses for Wilfried Bony and then Gervinho to head home to leave them with a World Cup start far better than their 2006 and 2010 exploits.

Aurier is a defender who has been linked very strongly with signing for Arsenal, where he would replace Bacary Sagna who has joined Manchester City.
His performance was praised by Ivorian legend Didier Drogba, whose second half substitution gave his side a lift and sparked their comeback to join Group C table toppers Colombia on three points.
The former Chelsea striker told FIFA’s website: “He’s the best right-back in all of France, I think he’ll do well at the next level too, in the Premier League.”
Drogba’s words hint that Aurier is indeed close to leaving Toulouse as has been mooted, and Arsenal will hope to wrap up a deal before too long.
If they do not hurry however, then they run the risk of his price tag increasing as he continues to set a high standard with his performances, and rival teams decide to show their interest in the player too.
