Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he’s a huge fan of Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish ahead of this afternoon’s clash with Leicester City.

Before this latest round of fixtures, Aston Villa were eighth in the Premier League table and only six points behind in the race for a top-four finish – and had two games in hand over fourth-placed Chelsea.
So much of their success this time around is down to Grealish, who has six goals and 12 assists in 22 Premier League outings for the Villans which, for an attacking midfielder, is a stunning return.
This is the 25-year-old’s best season for his boyhood club but former Liverpool boss Rodgers has revealed to The Birmingham Mail that he’s been aware of this player’s ability since 2015, claiming he has blossomed into a talent who simply has everything now.
He said: “Jack Grealish is one of the top players for me at this level, he’s such an outstanding talent, and he’s one that makes everyone else better. I first really came across Jack when he played in the semi-final against my Liverpool team and he was sensational in that game. I thought then that the boy was a big talent, and now, in his mid-20s, he’s a real special player.
“He has everything, how he takes the ball, how he can run with the ball, create goals, score goals, his weight of pass.”
