Arsenal fans believe that Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane will start against them on Sunday, despite Jose Mourinho’s comments on his striker.
Mourinho said yesterday to Football London that Kane has suffered an injury, which has plunged his involvement in the North London derby into doubt.
But Arsenal fans think that the Tottenham boss is just playing mind-games ahead of the contest.
And Gunners supporters are fully expecting Mourinho to unleash the 27-year-old against them.
If Kane is just being rested by Spurs, then that could be a scary prospect for Arsenal.
Kane has been in wonderful form for Tottenham this term, and if he is now fully refreshed for the weekend, he could do damage to Arsenal’s defence, as he has typically thrived in the fixture.
However, Mourinho’s comments have caused major concern among Tottenham fans, as it would be a huge blow if their star man is injured for the contest.
Spurs build their attacks around Kane’s ability to drop deep and pick a pass, and if he is out for the weekend, it is difficult to see who could replace him in their starting line-up.
