Speaking to Liverpool’s official club website, James Milner has been waxing-lyrical about Mohamed Salah after his incredible season so far for the Reds.

Salah once again finds himself at the top of the Premier League scoring charts, and he’s been absolutely brilliant in every imaginable way.

His pace, strength, movement and finishing have all been top-notch, and plenty of pundits have labelled him as the best player in the world right now.

Milner buys into that school of thought, stating that he feels blessed to be able to play alongside Salah.

What’s Milner said about Salah?

The midfielder was full of praise for Salah.

“For me, he is right up there – the goals he’s scoring, the numbers he’s putting up consistently, goals and assists,” Milner said about the Egyptian.

“Obviously I might be slightly biased – and I’m blessed as well because I get to train with him every day and see how good he is in training as well – but I think he has to be the best over the recent months and hopefully long may it continue.

“He’s special. Some of the goals he’s scoring at times, you just have to stop and applaud them really.”

The best player Milner has played with?

Milner says he’s blessed to play with Salah, and that’s massive praise from a player who has played for both Manchester City and England.

Milner has played alongside the likes of Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard and Yaya Toure, but despite all of that incredible talent, you may have to consider Salah as the best player Milner has played with, especially when you take his recent form into account.

Milner says he’s blessed to play with the winger, and we’re all very lucky to be able to watch him on a weekly basis in the Premier League.
