Some Liverpool fans on Twitter are nonplussed by something Jurgen Klopp revealed today.
The Premier League champions kick off their FA Cup journey with a difficult trip to Aston Villa on Friday night.
But according to Klopp, one player who won’t be available is Naby Keita, due to injury.
The 25-year-old former Leipzig midfielder has only managed seven starts for Liverpool across all competitions this season.
According to Transfermarkt, Keita has had seven different injuries since arriving from Germany in 2018.

A lot has been written about Liverpool’s centre-back crisis, but it’s arguably worse in central midfield.
Keita, Thiago Alcantara and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have managed only 14 Premier League appearances between them this season.
And with Fabinho forced to play centre-back due to Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez’s absences, it’s a minor miracle that Klopp’s side remain top of the Premier League.
If they’re surviving without Thiago, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keita then watch out when they’re back, but at this stage it seems optimistic to have all three fit simultaneously.
