Rob Holding has stated that Bukayo Saka is ‘some player’ after the Arsenal player was being praised on Instagram live.
The Arsenal centre-back was taking part in an Instagram live session early on Wednesday morning where talk turned to Arsenal’s thriving star.
Saka supplied an assist for Arsenal as they recorded a 1-0 win against Brighton on Tuesday to make it back-to-back wins for the under-fire Mikel Arteta.
After Holding was told that good things are being said about Arsenal’s academy product, he responded with this simple message.
“He’s some player,” said Holding. “18-years-old. He will be good. We just have to go on this run now.”
There has been much light shining over the Emirates Stadium recently but the club’s youngsters, including Saka are the ones repairing the previously broken spotlight.
From Arsenal’s perspective, it says a lot about where the club is at that a teenager is leading the way for them and not the senior stars.
But that’s just the stark reality of where the club are at and how that is their pathway back to securing a top-six finish this season.
