Emile Smith Rowe has said that everyone at Arsenal has already fallen in love with Aaron Ramsdale on England’s official Youtube channel.
Big impression made
Ramsdale only joined Arsenal in the summer and initially there were some doubts expressed over the transfer.
Ramsdale had been relegated for two seasons running prior to his move to the Emirates Stadium and the £30 million fee that Mikel Arteta’s side paid was questioned by many.
However, Ramsdale has quickly set about proving the doubters wrong.
The 23-year-old initially came to Arsenal to provide competition for Bernd Leno, but he has now taken his place.
Ramsdale has rapidly become Arteta’s first choice in goal, with his performances earning great praise.
Ramsdale is still yet to taste defeat in an Arsenal shirt, with the goalkeeper becoming a real favourite with supporters already.
And it seems that Ramsdale isn’t just popular with the Gunners fans, as his teammates have also taken a shine to him.
“Since the first day he’s come in he’s such a big character. He’s so loud and funny. Everyone loves him already,” he said.
“It’s been funny to be honest, he’s playing really well and he deserves the England call up.”

England chance coming?
Ramsdale’s form has led to calls for him to be given a chance with England.
The young stopper has been included in a number of Gareth Southgate’s squads recently, but is yet to make his senior debut.
It seems likely that Jordan Pickford will start tonight, but if England do beat Albania, then it is certainly a possibility that Ramsdale could start for the Three Lions against San Marino on Monday.
