Mikel Arteta put his side through their paces one last time before the visit of Wolverhampton Wanderers today.
Aubameyang has looked a different player for all the wrong reasons this season, having netted just two Premier League goals – and one of them was from the penalty spot.
Since arriving at Arsenal almost three years ago, the 31-year-old has been one of the most lethal marksmen in English football.
And he certainly showcased his ability at London Colney yesterday, finding the net with the sort of ruthlessness and precision that he’s been doing on the pitch since 2018.
Arsenal, who are 14th in the Premier League table, need a big performance from the former Borussia Dortmund striker today.

Arteta’s side are only five points adrift of the top four right now, despite being so far behind in regards to places.
But if Arsenal are serious about getting into the Champions League then it’s these games, against potential top-four rivals, that they absolutely must win and a big performance from their big players today – especially Aubameyang – will go a long way toward seeing them over the line later.
