The sheer level of his performance has quickly brought his contractual situation into sharp focus.
Salah has just over 18 months remaining on his current deal, and Liverpool are said to be reluctant to pay his wage demands by the Daily Mirror.
This has caused great frustration among Liverpool supporters, who feel that Salah certainly has earned a pay-rise.
There is even some debate that the Egyptian is currently the best player in world football.

And after the final tweet about Salah, many Liverpool fans are convinced that a new contract is ready to be announced soon.
Will Salah sign?
It remains unclear whether Liverpool’s posts are building up to news about Salah signing a new contract, or simply are hailing his latest display.
If he was to put pen to paper it would be a major boost for Jurgen Klopp’s side though.
Liverpool surely cannot afford to lose Salah, given his importance to their team, and if there is any player worth breaking their wage structure for – it is the 29-year-old.
