Some Everton fans on social media have been reacting after Jurgen Klopp aimed a dig at the Toffees during his pre-match press conference ahead of the Reds’ Champions League match.
The German manager aimed a thinly-veiled dig at Everton during his conference, and as you can imagine, that rubbed some Toffees supporters up the wrong way.
“Nobody is happy with being fourth and only having 40 points and (potentially) being level on points with Everton,” Klopp said.
Understandably, the Goodison Park faithful had plenty to say about these comments.
The reactions differed slightly, some took this personally, branding Klopp as disrespectful and obnoxious, while others revelled in the fact Klopp is clearly bothered by the fact Everton are performing at a similar level to Liverpool this season.
One thing is for sure, the Merseyside Derby is bound to be a very interesting affair, and the war of words may have only just begun between Klopp and Ancelotti.
