Jude Bellingham’s stock is just growing and growing, but is it decreasing Liverpool’s chances of signing the England star?
Liverpool would have already known that serious money needs to be put on the table to sign the 19-year-old Borussia Dortmund midfielder, but a few more zeros might need to be added if he continues to wow at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
One man that has been left impressed by Bellingham has been his international teammate and Everton shot-stopper, Jordan Pickford, who stated that he is ‘quality’, as he told England’s press conference.

Pickford hasn’t come up against Bellingham on the domestic circuit because they are both plying their trades in different countries, but could that change in 2023?
From Pep Guardiola’s all-dominant and attack-hungry Manchester City side to Liverpool’s monster-mentality stars, these are just two clubs of significance that want to sign him.
Either way, Pickford would have seen first-hand, in England training and then out on the pitch, what Bellingham is like and he couldn’t speak in higher terms about the teenage sensation.
“He’s a great lad, a young lad, but he’s very mature,” said Pickford. “I think at Dortmund you can see, he has leadership qualities already. Being captain at Dortmund already.
“His performance the other night was unbelievable for his debut at the World Cup, it was magnificent. He’s a great lad. Still a young lad. But he is quality.”

BELLINGHAM AS IMPORTANT AS HARRY KANE
There are only a few players in this talent-packed and technically-gifted England side that are some of the first names on the team sheet.
The man with the captain’s armband is one of them, for sure, but Bellingham could also put his name forward now.
Without him in the middle of the park, it’s like going into a cupboard full of the best foods and emptying it out.
