Portsmouth fans are reacting on Twitter to reports linking Alex Bass with a move to Crystal Palace.
The Portsmouth News claims that, according to its south London sources, talks are progressing over a multi-million-pound deal to take the goalkeeper to Palace.
Bass broke into the Portsmouth team at the start of the year and played in all but two of Pompey’s remaining league, cup and play-off fixtures – making up 21 of his 27 appearances for the club.
The 22-year-old’s form saw him rewarded with a new contract, running until June 2023.

But Portsmouth’s failure to gain promotion this season could yet see them cash in.
What would Crystal Palace be getting in Bass?
This is what those of a Portsmouth persuasion are saying…
All three of Crystal Palace’s senior ‘keepers – including Stephen Henderson, a former Pompey teammate of Bass – are over the age of 30.
And Bass is likely to be viewed as one for the future by the Premier League side.
Portsmouth’s goalkeeping roster also includes the experienced Craig MacGillivray, should the youngster depart.
