Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has praised Arsenal goalkeeper Emi Martinez in Football London.
Tottenham beat Arsenal 2-1, and Martinez actually helped the Gunners keep the score down.
The Argentine stopper produced one absolutely brilliant stop from a strong drive from Ben Davies, as he flew across his goal and tipped the shot on to the bar.
And Mourinho admits that he has been really impressed by Martinez’s recent performances in Arsenal’s goal.
“What a save. I think an amazing save by Martinez, just a little touch,” Mourinho said. “He’s playing so well to be honest and that amazing save, but fantastic strike.”
Mourinho’s words just add to the praise that Martinez has been collecting recently.

When Bernd Leno was ruled out with injury there were major concerns around Arsenal that they would be negatively impacted by the German’s absence.
However, Martinez has really stepped up and proven to be one of the best back-up goalkeepers in the Premier League.
If Martinez keeps up his current form then there are no guarantees that Leno will get straight back into Mikel Arteta’s side when he does eventually return, as he has been so impressive.
Martinez will next in action for Arsenal tomorrow, when they take on Liverpool.
