Liverpool fans have made their feelings clear about Fabinho ahead of tonight’s Champions League showdown.
Jurgen Klopp told his pre-match press conference on Tuesday that he knows where Fabinho will play but ‘I don’t say it’, as he remained coy on whether he’s going bring him back into midfield or play him at centre-back.
Liverpool hold a two-goal lead over RB Leipzig, who will be hoping to cause an upset against the Premier League champions, who have been hit with blow after blow in recent months.
The Anfield faithful made it clear that they want Fabinho to play in the middle of the park, so the Reds can get their confidence and form back in the locker.
But others do fear that Klopp will play the natural number six as a centre-back even though he has bonafide options to choose from in defence.
Either way, it’s a huge talking point amongst Liverpool supporters and until that team sheet comes through, they will be praying that Fabinho is back where he is at his best.
