Arsenal fans absolutely loved the way that Martin Odegaard showed such emotion when Pierre Emerick Aubameyang grabbed a late winner last night.
Odegaard’s future at Arsenal may not be certain beyond the end of the season, but the Real Madrid loanee certainly couldn’t be accused of lacking passion.
The youngster sunk to his knees and beat the floor wildly after Aubameyang’s late header sealed Arsenal’s progress to the next round.
And Gunners fans are convinced that Odegaard’s show of emotions shows how much he has bought into the club already.
Whether Mikel Arteta has made his mind up on Odegaard’s future yet remains to be seen.
The 21-year-old has only really shown his ability in flashes, rather than over a consistent spell.
However, Odegaard could be an appealing addition to Arsenal on a long-term basis, given his obvious potential.
Arsenal’s next fixture comes against Leicester City at the weekend, when Odegaard may well feature again.
